Description:
Original vintage hand colored MAP OF AFRICA, Engraved To Illustrate Mitchell's School and Family Geography Atlas. There is also a small inset in the top corner with a Map of Egypt, and the Map of Liberia in the lower left corner. The reverse side of the map is blank. Original map, printed in 1856, has foxing due to age. This 150+ year old map is a true antique and would look marvelous matted and framed.
