Houston.   Pictured are: a Spanish papelera from Toledo; Seventeenth century cabinet and shrine on a trestle stand; Vargueno walnut cabinet and stand of early sixteenth century; Table of the late fifteenth century and high backed arm chair, both made of walnut; The long chest with lifting lid was a useful and frequent article of Spanish furniture; Sixteenth century walnut stand of vargueno cabinet; A small sixteenth century vargueno cabinet on high carved trestle stand, and two seventeenth century chairs with turned legs; A fifteenth century walnut chair and seventeenth century walnut table with turned legs and molded stretchers; Eighteenth century chairs with marquetry splats, reminiscent of Queen Anne fiddleback chairs; A seventeenth century walnut table with deep drawers, turned legs, and pear shaped drop handles; Model of an old time Spanish galleon with figures developed in leather.
