Reprinted from January 1905, first issue of The Ice cream Trade Journal. Jacob Fussell, father of the Ice Cream Industry is pictured with his son and grandson P. Morgan Fussell. Also pictured is the site of the first wholesale ice cream plant, which is occupied by a depot of the Western Maryland Railway in Baltimore. Chairman of the Centennial Committee, L.M. Hendler, Hendler Creamery Company obtained permission for the Historical Society to dedicate a plaque to be affixed to the building at 180 N. Exester Street, Baltimore. Dedication will be June 15, 1951. Mr M.T. Fussell was president of the Fussell Ice Cream Company of Fourth Avenue, NY, and grandson P.Mogan Fussell is conducting the Fussell Ice cream Company of Norfolk, VA. Old 1951 3 page dairy article.
