Manufacturers of Jet Gun Perforating Service.
Conical shaped charges, which became famous in the Bazooka of World War II, have been successfully adapted to gun perforating. A special Jet Explosive charge, sealed in a Bakelite case lined with a metal cone, was originally developed by the Du Pont laboratories. Jet velocities upward of 25,000 feet per second (about ten times grater than bullet velocity) are produced by these Jet Explosives. This result in smooth, round holes, with no splitting or bulging of casing, with penetrations 300% deeper than bullets can produce in standard block tests.
Has product images, illustrations, descriptions, applications and specifications provide extensive product details.
Unbound from a large 1949-1950 Catalog of Oil Field Equipment, this unique old three-page technical brochure would display beautifully matted and framed. Nice graphics. A fabulous addition to your retro petroleum industry library. Pages are loose.
