Original vintage magazine ad, TYGART VALLEY GLASS COMPANY of Washington, PA. Light Weight Jars for Peanut Butter. Shown is a sketch of a Boucher machine, invented in 1900. A parision of molten glass was introduced into a measing holder and forced by compressed air into a neck mold, which was thin inverted, the parison pierced, and blown into a body mold. Old 1938 glass industry advertisement. Would look fantastic matted and framed.
Approximate size 8 x 11 inches. (This ad is the same as p776, but with a slightly different color sketch in the background).
