The Abbott Rayon Quilter is fully automatic. With the pinboard attachment, it reduces the operator workload approximately 50%, and permits one operator to run two 100 Spindle machines. Bobbins are not soiled by handling and the aluminum pinboards are made to hold either 80 or 90 bobbins. Hourly production per operator winding 150 denier filament averages 2000 bobbins.
