Shipping and Returns

Ads, Articles, Catalogs, Maps & Prints:
All vintage magazine ads, articles, maps, prints and commercial catalogs are stored and shipped in a poly sleeve with an archival, acid free white backer board. They will be shipped flat in a rigid cardboard mailer, with PHOTOGRAPHS DO NOT BEND stamped on front and back of mailer.  We use USPS Ground Advantage Mail. If preferred, USPS Priority Mail is available for an additional fee.  USPS Ground Advantage generally takes 3-7 days and Priority Mail 3-5 days. We ship within 2 business days of receipt of payment. 

Books:
Books are mailed USPS Media Mail, which takes 7-14 days. The cost of shipping books is by total weight, which includes any handling effort. Insurance against loss or damage is extra. We ship within 2 business days of receipt of payment. 

Our Damage Policy:
We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If, despite our efforts, your order does arrive damaged, you must work with the carrier (USPS, Postal Service) to file the claim. They will normally want to see the entire order (all contents and all original packing material). Do not repack and please, do not return the damaged items to us unless you are instructed to do so. This will void the insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.
Note that we only ship within the continental U.S., and to Canada as standard. We will consider other International shipping destinations on an individual basis, if requested, and provide customized shipping costs in each case.

Sales Tax & Customs Tariff:

  • All orders shipped to the State of Texas will have 8.25% sales tax collected as required by law.
  • Customs tariffs may be applicable to overseas orders and it is not included in the order total. And as such customs tariffs are the responsibility of the customers. Please check with your local Customs official for further information on the amount of duties that you may be responsible for.



Our Return Policy:
We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions about the item(s) you are ordering, please use our question form to ask us about the item before placing your order.
If that rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within seven (7) days (by email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund for your item(s) if returned in the same condition as it was when it was sent to you excluding any shipping/insurance costs for which you were responsible. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.
