Original vintage printed engraving titled SCENERY & ANIMALS OF AFRICA - The Victoria Falls in Zambesi River - The Nile. The animals include, camel, zebra giraffe, elephant,  hyena, ostrich, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, lion, gorilla, sacred ibis, and crocodile. It was engraved by Karst.
This page was salvaged from an atlas with no binding and no covers which was carefully thread disbound. One edge will show thread holes where it was bound, as shown in picture. The etching is in VG+ condition, with no tears on the image, practically no foxing. Image area is clean and pristine. Slight age toning around the outer edges. Would look sensational matted and framed!  A true 130+ year old antique.  1882 steel engraving print.
