Art Concrete Meter Boxes are made in styles and sizes to meet varying local requirements. There are more than two million in use by about 1000 water systems. Art Concrete Boxes are comparatively lightweight yet amply strong. Outside walls are flared at the top to maintain at grade. Box may be readily removed from the ground or the meter itself removed through the top opening of the box. Pipe slots have thin knockout webs for adjustment of pipe elevations. Concrete base is available to provide deeper box closed at bottom. The concrete cover and lids are strongly reinforced. Interchangeable cast iron covers, with locking device if desired, can be supplied where boxes will be subject to regular vehicle traffic. The California Benches are also famous throughout the entire country and are in  growing use everywhere because of their attractive designs and practical features. These are made in a series of designs, the latest of which are illustrated.
