Kutrite Composite Rods, a development of B&W Metal Company of Houston TX,  were designed primarily for the oil industry. Kutrite has gained worldwide acceptance for its cutting ability and the highest degree of abrasive ware. The sintered tungsten carbide particles contained in the rod are available in ten different sizes.  The sintered tungsten carbide particles used in this product are of the highest steel cutting quality. These carbides are crushed, treated, and carefully graded to maintain consistency, size and quality of Kutrite rods.
