Here's a bomber-gunner hurrying to load his 50-calibre gun.  In peace, a lot of that copper would have gone into new telephone lines. Now it's needed for hooting and winning the war. That's why we can't build new lines right now. That's why we're saying "Please don''t place Long Distance calls to war-busy centers unless its absolutely necessary."
