This border describes pictorially what happens to a roller after it reaches the roller factory. The old composition is stripped from the core, and the core is scrubbed until absolutely clean. It is then painted with an adhesive material, and the date and grade of the composition to be used is stenciled on the stock. The ends of the stocks I then wound, and centered in the casting machine, which is raised to a vertical position and then the composition forced in by air pressure. After casting, the bottom plate is removed and the rollers drop by gravity to the floor below. Here they are trimmed and packed for shipment, or placed in a storeroom for city delivery.
Has product images, description and application provide product details.
Unbound from a large rare 1930 Newspaper Equipment Catalog, this unique old one-page technical brochure would display beautifully matted and framed. Nice graphics. A fabulous addition to your retro printing industry library.
