Original 1949 textile chemical trade vintage ad for BORNE SCRYMSER COMPANY. Main office and plant was located Elizabeth, NJ and also in Charlotte, NC. (Established 1874).
Manufacturers of Breton Minerol Process. Spray Minerol, it tames unruly Cotton Fibre!
Charged with static, cotton fibre runs wild in the mill. It needs control, and that comes in no more convincing form than the Minerol treatments that mill men have found so helpful too, at the Cards, in Drawing and Spinning. Minerol is a fibre conditioner, lubricating, softening and preparing better reactions to Dyeing, Bleaching and Mercerizing processes.
Unbound from a 1949 cotton industry handbook, this unique old one-page advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed. Nice graphics. A fabulous addition to your retro textile library.
