 All Buffalo-made meters measure the liquid by volumetric displacement. They are the single piston type, of unusual simplicity. Extra thickness of measuring piston complete maximum accuracy. Meters are made in 12 sizes, from 1/2 to 6 inches. Each one is built of special materials, as required for the liquid to be measured and is individually calibrated for accuracy. Standard meters are tested at 150 pounds pressure, high pressure models built for pressures up to 3000 pounds, as needed.
