Original 1946 industrial trade vintage catalog for the BUMP PUMP COMPANY. Main office and plant was located in La Crosse, WI.
Manufacturers of Bump Pumps - Will Pump Hot or Cold, Thin or Viscous Liquids, Semi-Solids and Pulps.
Bump Pumps, Sanitary and Sanitary Seal models incorporate the advantages of reciprocating, centrifugal and rotary type pumps. They are positive displacement type pumps that are self-priming under high vacuums and against head pressures, delivering a constant volume per revolution that is not affected by speed or pressure. Bump Pumps are 100% sanitary, backed by 15 years successful experience and service to the dairy industry. Since the internal parts do not revolve, there is no churning of the fluid being pumped. No vibration nor agitation takes place within the pump. Fluids with temperatures up to 210 degrees can be successfully pumped by Bump Sanitary Pumps. There is no contamination of the fluid being pumped. The bearings are entirely separate from the pumping chamber. In Bump Pumps, there are no packing, no grease cups, no internal threads, only two moving parts. Capacity of 1/2 to 400 gallons per hour.
Has product images, illustration, description, application and specifications provide product details.
