Original vintage architecture trade magazine ad for BURDETT ROWNTREE MANUFACTURING COMPANY of Chicago, IL.  Important Patent Decision in the United States Circuit Court, October Sessions, 1907 in equity.  Burdett-Rowntree Manufacturing Company versus Standard Plunger Elevator Company.  The Burdett Rowntree Manufacturing Company brought suit in the court under its patent no. 666,699 which covers broadly the One Point Control System of Automatic Electric Dumbwaiters.  On December 13th, 1911 a decision was rendered finding that the dumbwaiter installations as built by the Standard Plunger Elevator Company infringed these claims.  Old 1912 construction advertisement.
