Manufacturers of CAB-O-SIL. 'How to use it'. 'Where to use it'.
CAB-O-SIL is a submicroscopic fire-dry fumed silica that is different from precipitated silicas or silica gels. The particles average in diameter depending upon the grade, from 70 to 500 angstroms, centered together in chain-like formations. These chains are branched and have surface areas of 40 M2/g to 50 M2/g. It is the unique chain-like formation which distinguishes CAB-O-SIL from other silicas and contributes to the superb thickening and thixotropic properties. Because of the very nature of CAB-O-SIL, it often performs two or more functions simultaneously. Because of this, it is frequently possible to turn a lost item into a profit leader or produce a product which is superior to competitive brands.
Product usage includes Adhesives & Sealants, Aerosols, Coatings, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Foods, Lubricants, Plastics, Polishes, Printing Inks, Reproduction Paper, Rubber, Textiles, Wire and Cable, all are fully featured.
Has product images, description, applications and specifications to provide product details.
Unbound from a large rare 1970 Chemical Materials Catalog, this unique old sixty-four-page technical brochure would display beautifully matted and framed. Awesome cover graphics. A fabulous addition to your retro chemical library.
