Enduraroc chalk board is scientifically made and designed to meet the exacting requirements of the modern school in a better way than any product of a like nature. Every step in its manufacture is under rigid control, ensuring absolute uniformity, long-life and efficiency. All ingredients used are permanent in character and are skillfully combined to produce a product that defies time and the elements indefinitely. The basic ingredients of Endurance are asbestos rock and Portland cement; two of natures indestructible materials. In the process of manufacture, layer upon layer of closely-knit interwoven asbestos fibers are impregnated with Portland cement and then welded into a solid mass, under tons of hydraulic pressure. The compounds so compressed make panels that are tough, wear-resistant and semi-elastic. These panels are then surface treated by our special surfacing process. The finished board, in its various treatments, is subjected to more wear than it will ever receive in a lifetime of school use.
