For more than 40 years, the Elkhart Brass Manufacturing Company has been engaged in the development and manufacture of fire fighting equipment. Contacts have been maintained with fire department executives in all parts of the country and every new development or condition has been closely studied. This company developed the first expansion ring type coupling for unlined linen hose. We have also worked in conjunction with the National Board of Fire Underwriters and the Factory Mutuals in Boston.
