Products include the Flexitallic CG-RJ Gasket for Ring-Type Joints. Flexitallic CG-RJ Gasket takes the place of standard oval or octagonal rings. It is compression gauge spiral wound gasket that has many advantages in installation and service. The making and breaking of ring-type joints is accomplished with minimum production delay. Only 1/16th inch breakaway is required, compared to 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch with conventional ring gaskets. Ring-type joint flanges already installed are quickly adapted to this compression gauge gasket. Maintenance economies are the same as those enjoyed with raised face, smooth face, vanstone and lap joints. Especially recommended for joints and valves or where there is close manifolding of the piping.
