Mines:

• Hoskins Mound is located in Brazoria County, Texas, about 60 miles South of Houston. Shipments are made by rail via the Missouri Pacific railroad and by water through the deep water port of Freeport, Texas. This mine has been in production since 1923. Ample stocks are maintained at this mine, at the company's other mine in Louisiana and at strategic points elsewhere.
• Grand Ecaille is located in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, approximately 50 miles South of New Orleans and 10 miles West of the Mississippi River. Shipments are made through a company-constructed canal to Port Sulphur, on the river, where facilities are available for loading into river barges and ocean- going vessels.
