Gammaloy, LTD, a service organization specializing in tool sales and rentals, are domestic distributors of Gammaloy non-magnetic survey drill collars manufactured by National Supply Division, Armco Steel Corporation. Since introduction of the Gammaloy Drill Collars in 1946, National has continuously improved this product. The present Drill Collar is known as 'Super-Gammaloy', a patented material, having a yield strength of over 100,000 PSI. These collars are manufactured in one piece forging with integral tool joint connections. The total length of the drill collar is permanently non-magnetic. By eliminating the two foot steel subs and holding to the same standard lengths, obviously, the 'Super-Gammaloy' drill collars are more effective at higher angles, stronger overall and passes on a savings to the customer.
