Manufacturers of Street Lighting Glassware.
To keep your streets looking their best, it is important to use quality street-lighting glassware. Gleason-Tiebout globes are uniform in density, each light has the same bright, attractive appearance. Their uniform fitness provides greater strength, which means that you will save money, because they seldom break. The new G-T seared-fitter on blown globes, a smooth flame finished edge, strengthens the globe at its weakest point and increases the resistance to nicks and cracks during handling. For modern pendant lighting, Gleason-Tiebout has developed a pressed globe, with great improvements over similar blown globes, namely, exact uniformity of thickness, and a rim as strong and hard as the surface. Gleason-Tiebout street-lighting glassware has the patented General Electric rippled outer surface, as shown in image under a magnifying glass. The jewel-like sparkle provides a cheerful appearance both at night and during the day. Of all surface treatments only the ripple is uniform in size and pattern over the entire surface. This gives the same amount of diffusion throughout the globe. The ripple because of its wavy vertical design, assists rain in washing the globe free of dust and road film.
