H.H. Robertson was the originator of Asbestos Protected Metal roofing and siding. He placed it on the market in 1905, and thus the material is now in its 34th year of service to industry both here and abroad, for Robertson Protected Metal is now in use, not only throughout the United States, but in over 100 foreign countries and dependencies.

The original and basic idea of Robertson Protected Metal was the application and bonding of permanent coatings to the corrugated steel roofing and siding, thus ensuring longer service life and to a larger extent, the elimination of maintenance requirements.
