The basic element of this system is Robertson's Q-Floor, which acts as a load carrying member of the building in which residents is it it is installed. When installed, this floor provides a steel and closed raceway or wiring channel every six inches across its entire area period to gather up wiring installed in the cells and terminating at various outlets, a member (header) is installed at right angles to the run of the cells. Provision is made for the connections to panel, cabinet or other wire centers, as conditions require.  Wiring for Robertson Q-Floors can be laid out by the electrical engineer to fit individual requirements as to density, load, number of distribution systems, etcetera in an economical manner.
