Halowax products are used in such varied applications as lubrication additives, extrusion compounds, wire insulation saturates, dielectrics and fabric saturates for flame & moisture resistance. They improved moisture resistance and flame and dielectric characteristics when compounded with rubber. They impart moisture resistance to both natural and synthetic resins. They are used in insecticides, as a wood preservative against termites, for impregnating cardboard forms, for waterproofing wood and fibre, as standards for taking index of refractions and for gun solvents.
