This new patented unit is designed to positively detect any leak occurring at the connection point of two pieces of tubular goods. All testing is done externally. This eliminates possible damage to the internal coating and prevents expensive fishing jobs for tools lost in the hole. Also prevents internal seals from sealing potential leaks. The Gator-Hawk consists of pneumatic and hydraulic systems to create pressure. Additionally, these are equipped with a super-sensitive leak detection system. The complete operating unit is extremely compact, a self-contained leak detection device that requires only 100 PSI of air pressure and 30 to 48 PSI water pressure.
