Hayward Cement Collars incorporate features of design and construction necessary to assure safe, simple, fast and positive cementing of casing strings. Their use enables the operator to perform multi-stage cementing jobs with one string of casing. When the tool is closed, it is sealed against pressure from any direction. The effectiveness of this seal may be tested immediately after the cement is discharged and while it is still in fluid state. The possibility of subsequent leaks around the ports is further minimized by the double seal resulting from the hardened cement. The inside diameter of the tool is the same as the casing in which it is run, except drillable ring of Style 8-W, thus providing a full, free passage for cement and for running tools.
