Halothane light directors are made of prismatic glass, the most accurate means known to science for controlling light. In every field of illumination where light should be used efficiently, Holophane Products will give the maximum service per dollar of cost.  Holophane is particularly suitable for the lighting of streets, schools, offices, auditoriums and other public buildings and for obtaining most effective indications from traffic signals and reflecting signs. Street lighting refractors are light directors. They are specifically designed for adequately lighting business streets, thoroughfares, residential streets, parks, alleys, bridges, and highways. Refractors control light and direct it to the street to give exactly the distribution of illumination desired. These are Symmetric Refractors and Asymmetric Refractors - Asymmetric Refractors for ornamental units and overhead units on residential streets and thoroughfares, that direct light up and down the street, white which would otherwise be wasted in the sky or on lawns, or glaring into windows;  Symmetric Reflectors off of parks, and all locations where a full round distribution of light is desirable. There are Asymmetric Refractors for lighting highways and bridges. Light is directed to the road and not allowed to be lost in the fields or water.
