Manufacturers and Refiners of Dental Gold. 'How to Keep Wax Patterns from Drawing away from the Investment when Soaking.'
Place model with wax pattern in water of body temperature. Cold water causes wax patterns to contract. Always place model in water so that the wax is on the bottom. The air in the pores of the investment can thus freely rise to the surface without tending to carry wax pattern with it. In contrast, if the model is placed in the water pattern side up, the wax pattern will lift from the model in spots due to the pressure created by the escaping air.
Has product illustrations, description and applications to provide product details.
Unbound from a rare 1938 American Dental Journal magazine, this unique old one-page dentist advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed. Nice graphics. A fabulous addition to your retro dental industry library.
