In business over 114 years, Dixon produced its first Flake-Silica-Graphite paint more than 90 years ago. This manufacturing experience and knowledge gained from the extensive research projects and actual experience enabled Dixon to produce a paint to satisfy any particular need; acid and alkali resistant paints for chemical plants, non-toxic, tasteless, non-discoloring paints for interiors of water towers, or heat resistant paints for smokestacks, etc. Dixon will formulate special paints to meet unusual technical requirements.
