We have manufactured and sold this type of Fire Hydrant with its various improvements continuously for over seventy-five years. This is the Fire Fighters Ideal Hydrant for use in non-freezing climates. The patented Break-off Check can be furnished on any of these Hydrants. This Break-off Check with its Localized Breaking Point Saves Hydrant Bodies and water in the event the Hydrant is broken off by collision. Where Cold Freezing weather is experienced, we have the Frost-Proof, a Base Valve Hydrant of the popular angle valve type of construction with the valve opening against the pressure. Conforming to American Water Works specifications, this Hydrant is available in sizes from 4.5-inch to 6-inch vale openings.
