Original vintage industrial magazine ad, for MINNESOTA MINING AND MANUFACTURING COMPANY of St. Paul, MN.  3M Adhesives Are In The Saddle.  When NEWELL'S SADDLE SHOP in St. Louis, MO switched from traditional carved wooden saddle trees to forms, they were faced with the problem of fastening the leather covering o to a cast aluminum base.  Pictured is how 3M adhesives did the job.  Old 1948 dated industry advertisement.  (The scan shows a slight pink tint that is not on the actual ad.)
