​Original media vintage magazine article for PROFILE of Roger Read, Taft Broadcasting Company vice president and director, executive VP of Rhodes Productions Inc.  Take cable TV.  Mr Read doesn't deny the seriousness of the situation, but he's not yet ready to panic.  They will nibble at broadcasting, maybe erode it somewhat.  There may be need for some readjustments.  But I don't think cable poses a real serious threat to broadcasting.
