Manufacturers of Ideal Speed Lathes, for finishing, polishing, lapping, burring and grinding small metal and plastic parts production necessities.
The need for tool to put the final finish on small parts is completely met in the new Ideal Speed Lathe. The use of standard tools such as engine or bench lathes for this purpose ties up expensive equipment, is slow, and at best, provides only a make shift means for doing the work. Ideal Speed Lathes are especially designed for finishing, burnishing, polishing, lapping and burring of small parts. They are used on the final finishing operations of ball bearing races, headless set screws, gears, pinions, pulleys, spinning rings, screw machine products, wire draw dies, etc. Built-in features of this new tool also make it possible to handle rods, tubes and chuck stock or parts, more rapidly and economically than ever before. Ideal Speed Lathes are available for practically all production needs involving final finishing, can be had with spring type collet, speed chuck, taper socket, expanding mandrel, Universal 3-jaw chuck, and air or vacuum operated holding devices.
