Simply by changing its ice cream formula to include an increased butterfat, sugar and total solids content and advertising the same as Winter Ice Cream, the Shaw Ice Cream Company, Inc, of Danville, IL, stimulated its ice cream sales this past Winter to a surprising extent. Introducing its Winter Ice Cream on December 1, 1938 and continuing with the Winter formula until March 31, 1939.
