The manual is specifically for the operating personnel aboard ship. It contains a general description of the equipment, operating instructions, a section on indicator pattern interpretation, operator's maintenance and servicing information, and Radio Officer's maintenance procedures. It contains many helpful hints for interpreting normal and abnormal indications.
