Original old industry trade magazine ad for THE SPRINGS COTTON MILLS, Lancaster Plant in SC. Painted by George Erben. The clock tower is the resting place of Leroy Springs, who in 1896 pioneered the little cotton mill which has gown in to the largest in the world. Each week ists 7,000 looms produce enough yard wide cloth to reach from South Carolin to California. Springmaid Fabrics. This 1947 magazine advertisement would display beautifully matted and framed.
