A 'new' 44,000 sq. ft. building at 12300 South Main Street in Houston Texas, now houses the expanded operations of the Texas Iron Works. Texas Iron Works had been at 1401 Maury Street since 1927. When the company was founded in 1917, the machine shops were located in Goose Creek, while the offices were in Houston. The shops were moved to Houston in 1927.
