Tube-Kote's thermosetting (baked) on plastic coating - TK2 - is the final result of several years of intensive research work, during which time numerous coating materials were subjected to exhaustive tests to determine by standard ASTM methods their resistance to various chemicals, elevated temperatures, abrasive resistance, etc. Out of this test program has com - TK2 - a baked-on coating material compounded from phenol formaldehyde resin plus suitable inert pigments, plasticizers and solvents to give the maximum in flexibility and corrosion protection.
