Manufacturers of APCO Automatic Pump Primers.

The APCO Primer is a simple, absolutely dependable tank and piping system that automatically maintains a constant prime in any centrifugal pump in any service. It cost nothing to operate, does not affect the characteristics of the pump and has no mechanical parts to wear or get out of order. It does not require the use of vertical thrust bearings and foot valves and has no switch or other controls. It offers solutions to many pumping problems, such as those involved in the use of unsubmerged centrifugal pumps for service which were formally out of their scope and eliminate delays due to loss of prime. When the pump starts, liquid is drawn from the lower chamber and discharge through the upper chamber. This produces a partial vacuum in the lower chamber and draws liquid from sump into primer and pump. When the pump stops, liquid flows back and fills lower chamber, where it remains and maintains the prime of the pump.

Has product images, illustrations, description, application and specifications charts provide product details.
